DJ Bria (aka ‘Champagne Tuesdays’) is a Vancouver-based DJ, steadily becoming one of GirlOnWax’s busiest DJs! She’s charismatic, has an extremely professional work ethic, and has honed her DJing skills to enable her to DJ for all demographics.
Bria has experience DJing corporate & retail events, holiday & private parties, weddings and everything in-between. She currently has weekly DJ residencies at the exclusive D6 Lounge (in the JW Marriott/Parq Hotel) and Brewhall.
She has a massive music repertoire and knows how to ‘read a crowd’ exceptionally! Bria creates a unique playlist for each client based on our client’s music preferences/those attending.
Some examples of genres that GirlOnWax DJ’s spin: Top 40, Open Format, Throwbacks, House, Hip Hop, Lounge, Easy-Listening, Jazz, Classics, Classic Rock, Country, Retro, 50’s, 60’s, 70’s, 80’s, 90’s, 2000’s, 2010’s, etc. It all depends on the event! GirlOnWax has a *music profile* for each client to fill out.
I love DJing because it allows me to express myself without saying a word; allowing the energy I bring, to fill up the room. I have a deep catalogue of music from 100 years ago, up to today. I’m always well -prepared for any crowd. My sound is light and fun and contagious. If anyone is having more fun dancing than me at my gigs, I’d like to meet them! 😉 “
