DJ Buddha (also known as Buddha Sax) is Vancouver’s premier DJ and Saxophonist. With 2 decades of professional experience in the industry, he is known for providing the ultimate musical experience, with a solid reputation for packing dance-floors! DJing Weddings, Galas, Corporate & Private Events & celebrations are his forte! He reads the room beautifully and consistently receives rave reviews from clients and couples (including 5-Star Google reviews!).He loves to create the perfect mix of music for your big day or event, based on your music tastes.
DJ Buddha has DJ’ed & played Sax at several of Vancouver’s highest profile events and with some of the biggest names in the DJ industry: Roger Sanchez, Dabruck & Klein, Chromeo and Paul Oakenfold to name a few. Buddha’s fantastic energy is contagious and because of this, he’s held residencies in Vancouver’s most successful clubs over the past several years. Namely: Ginger 62, Canvas Lounge, Republic, Venue, Barcelona & Aura Nightclub. He’s performed internationally also! In Barcelona Spain, Cabo San Lucas, Mexico and also LA, San Francisco, Seattle, Edmonton & Calgary.
He plays all genres of music and will cater his music play-list specifically to your group. Examples of genres that our GirlOnWax DJ’s play: Current Top 40, Jazz, Soul, Hip Hop, Throwbacks, Remixes, R&B, Motown, Oldies, Rock, Lounge, Cocktails, Indie, House, EDM, OPM, Latin, Salsa, Jewish, Persian, South Asian, Bhangra, Italian, European, 50’s, 60’s, 70’s, 80’s, 90’s 2000’s & 2010’s, Tropical House and all forms of World or Traditional Music. Our DJ’s are happy to take requests if required!
